As an experienced Global Trade Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with international trade and customs regulations. You will navigate complex regulatory requirements, establish structures, processes and awareness, and serve as a trusted point of contact for business, legal and government authorities.
Key Tasks
* You oversee the overall trade compliance risk profile of the Frequentis Group and develop appropriate measures to minimize risks.
* You act as the process owner for all processes carried out by trade compliance‑specific roles.
* You coordinate the trade compliance organization at the group level, harmonising standards, processes and tools across legal entities.
* You serve as the company‑wide escalation point for Trade Compliance Managers and responsible parties.
* You continuously monitor regulatory and political developments that affect the Frequentis Group’s products and go‑to‑market strategies.
* You develop and deliver training and education programmes for employees.
Key Qualifications
* Several years of solid professional experience in international export control and trade compliance – ideally in a technology‑driven environment.
* Comprehensive knowledge of European and international trade laws, including EU and US regulations on export and sanctions law.
* Basic technical IT knowledge in software development, IT infrastructure or plant engineering (advantage).
* Experience building and managing corporate governance structures and internal control systems across the group, and applying for permits from authorities in various countries.
* Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills with a confident demeanor in an international stakeholder environment.
* Proven lateral leadership experience and excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.

Salary
The remuneration for this position consists of the collective agreement minimum salary of €59,878.00 gross per year (based on a 38.5‑hour week) plus an overpayment in line with the market depending on your qualifications and experience.
