Job Purpose/Overview

Due to new manufacturing structure (3rd party manufacturer site transfer from Austria to Slovakia) additional operational tasks will have to be covered by EUROLyser operations team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Take customer orders
* Enter orders into ERP system (SAP)
* Coordinate availability of products with manufacturing
* Scheduling of products with manufacturing
* Creation of order confirmations for customers
* Provision of necessary freight documents (e.g. free sales certificates, …)
* Planning of dispatch with internal and external forwarding agents
* Commissioning of goods for dispatch
* Production of control kits
* Investigation of customs problems
* Coordination with repair/service department in concerns of instrument repairs
* Creation of cost estimates
* Return shipments to customers
* Warehouse management, coordination of purchasing with the operations manager, incoming goods inspection, stock item entry
* General office work (mail, office supplies, copier, social)
Education and Experience

* Completed school education
* Multi-year experience in warehouse logistics beneficial

Working Conditions

The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding. The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone and communicate with people in an office environment. The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch. The associate must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
The associate will primarily work in a typical office and warehouse environment including use of computers and overhead lighting. Temperature extremes will be minimal. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The associate will be required to use a computer, ERP system, email, and the Internet. The associate is frequently required to use a calculator; fax, copy machine, and phone system. The associate must occasionally use Microsoft Teams.
