If so, this is your chance to join our team! We’re looking for a talented and experienced Data Product Owner with a strong passion for engineering and data-driven problem-solving. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping the media data landscape, empowering business teams to uncover new opportunities, and building data products that deliver real, measurable business value.
As part of our Media Technology & IT department, you’ll work at the heart of RedBull Media House’s technological ecosystem. Our team manages and innovates across over 100 media applications and tools — from our custom-built media platform to one of Europe’s most advanced TV studios. Data is a cornerstone of our operations, enabling smarter decisions and powering media innovation.
Responsibilities
All responsibilities entrusted to you include:
* Understanding business needs and translating them into impactful data products that empower decision-making in marketing media.
* Supporting data-driven strategies, uncovering new opportunities, and delivering measurable business value.
* Designing and implementing scalable, efficient, and robust data architectures aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.
* Experimenting with innovative approaches and cutting-edge tools.
* Overseeing and improving data integration processes and workflows across the marketing media ecosystem.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including analysts and technical staff, to shape the technical landscape and ensure data-driven decision-making.
* Driving innovation in data systems, inspiring a data-first mindset, and contributing to the evolving data journey.
Minimum Requirements
* At least 3 years of experience in data-centric roles, with a solid understanding of data architecture, modeling, and engineering.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
* Fluent in English; German is a plus.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, including conducting user research and interviews.
* Persistent, systematic, and analytical thinking with attention to detail.
* Education or work experience focused on data or media technology.
* A passion for innovation, continuous learning, and staying current with emerging data trends.
* Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and hands-on data engineering knowledge is a plus.
* Experience with marketing media data setups and related tools or datasets is a plus.
Travel requirements: 0-10%.
