What project you will work on
We are looking for a talented and experienced Data Scientist to cover for a team member on parental leave. You will join a team developing a market-ready product for connected vehicles, leveraging “over the air” transmitted vehicle data to improve roadside assistance and provide additional mobility services.

This is a 5-month temporary role, with potential for permanence based on mutual fit and project needs.
Responsibilities
* Research and analyze data from thousands of test customers to create prototypes and proofs of concept.
* Collaborate with product and backend teams to integrate innovations into our products.
* Prepare clear reports and visualizations to share research results.
* Continuously improve data models and algorithms through research and testing.
* Lead discussions and workshops with clients to identify data science opportunities.
* Drive innovation and persuade stakeholders of the value of data science.
* Share knowledge through regular domain exchange and technical meetings.
* Stay updated with the latest research and machine learning developments, sharing insights with the team.
Required skills
* 3+ years of industry experience
* Proficiency in machine learning approaches and frameworks
* Strong skills in Python and libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Jupyter
* Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
* End-to-end understanding of data pipelines and SQL
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Adaptability, problem-solving skills
* Strong business acumen
* Articulate and persuasive in solution proposals
* Fluent in German and English
