Technical Editor (m/f/d)

At SKIDATA, a global leader in access solutions, we are looking for a Technical Editor to strengthen our documentation team. In this role, you will shape and maintain our documentation portfolio, drive quality and consistency standards, and actively explore Al-based approaches to modern technical documentation and knowledge management.

What You'll Do
Create, update, and maintain high-quality technical documentation such as online helps, user manuals, technician manuals, and installation instructions for SKIDATA products.
Lead documentation projects independently, including planning, coordination, execution, and timely delivery while ensuring consistent quality standards.
Research, evaluate, and support the adoption of Al-based tools and methods for technical documentation and knowledge management within the department.
Check, apply, and further develop documentation standards and guidelines to ensure consistency across the entire documentation portfolio.
Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Product Development, Quality Assurance, Product Compliance, Product Management, and Global Technical Support.
Create and integrate screencasts and videos into online help where appropriate.
