A prestigious 4-star superior mountain resort in western Austria is seeking a Chef de Partie (Tournant) to join its dynamic culinary team for the upcoming season. Known for its refined design, warm hospitality, and gourmet-driven guest experience, the property blends alpine charm with modern elegance. With a creative approach to regional and international cuisine—including a casual fine dining restaurant and an Alpine-Asian fusion pop-up—this is a rare opportunity to grow within a versatile and high-standard kitchen environment.
Rotate between hot kitchen, cold starters, breakfast, and pastry stations as needed
Prepare and execute dishes according to modern European and Alpine standards
Occasionally assist in the Asian-fusion pop-up (basic sushi or tempura experience helpful)
Ensure high food hygiene and presentation standards
Organize mise en place and maintain kitchen cleanliness during service
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 4 years of experience in a Chef de Partie or Demi-Chef role in a 4-5* Hotel environment
Solid knowledge of modern European and Alpine cuisine
Comfort working across multiple sections (Tournant position)
Basic skills in Asian or fusion prep are a plus (not mandatory)
EU passport or valid Austrian work permit
Basic communication in English or German in a kitchen setting
Food and accommodation provided
13th and 14th salaries according to Austrian labor law
6 working days per week / 1 day off
Uniforms and laundry included
Work in a scenic and modern alpine resort with international clientele
