We are looking for an experienced Head of Asset Manager / Portfolio Manager for our dynamically growing real estate partner with a strong regional presence. The ideal candidate has a strategic mindset, strong systems thinking, and excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
The purpose of the role is to ensure the strategic-level value maximization of the real estate portfolio, establish transparent reporting structures, and contribute to the development of an efficient, well-structured and regionally aligned operation in close collaboration with other departments.
The role may also be ideal for professionals with strong investment or transaction experience who are open to leading asset or portfolio management activities.
Key responsibilities:
* Defining the strategic direction of the real estate portfolio and identifying opportunities for yield improvement
* Continuously monitoring market trends and preparing decision-support materials for senior management
* Proactively managing the Hungarian and regional real estate markets
* Providing professional leadership and development for asset and leasing managers
* Establishing a structured reporting system across the organization
* Building strong cross-functional collaboration, particularly with international organizational units
* Supporting change management and ensuring transparent data and information flow across the entire portfolio
Requirements:
* At least 10+ years of relevant experience in real estate asset management or portfolio management or transaction-related roles
* Strong strategic thinking and systems-level perspective
* Asset manager or ownership-oriented mindset
* Excellent stakeholder and change management skills
* Strong analytical and reporting focus, including the preparation and interpretation of feasibility studies
* Proven leadership experience
* Fluent English language skills
* Knowledge of basic real estate legal concepts is an advantage
* International (Central and Eastern European) market knowledge and network is considered an advantage
* Willingness to work in Hungary
