PROSAFETY is an embedded engineering service provider specialized for safety-critical and highly regulated industries.
We deliver development services across the full lifecycle of embedded systems from concept and architecture to implementation, testing, and long-term support. Our teams work closely with clients as an extension of their engineering organizations, providing both technical expertise and delivery reliability.
PROSAFETY is headquartered in Sarajevo and operates as part of a German parent company group. Until now, our client base has been predominantly located in the DACH region. As part of our next growth phase, we are establishing a structured sales presence in Austria, with the goal of building long-term customer partnerships and a sustainable local footprint.
To support this expansion, we are looking for a Sales Engineer who combines technical understanding with a consultative mindset, relationship-building skills, and strategic business development experience.
How you’ll make an impact
This role is built around consultative selling and long-term partnerships, not transactional or cold-calling sales.
As a Sales Engineer at PROSAFETY, you will play a key role in our entry and growth on the Austrian market.
You will act as a trusted interface between customers and our engineering teams, translating complex technical needs into sustainable collaboration models.
Success in this role is measured through quality of relationships, market development, and a healthy long-term pipeline, not short-term wins.
You will:
* Build and develop PROSAFETY’s customer base in Austria, with a long-term, partnership-oriented mindset
* Establish and maintain relationships with technical and business decision-makers
* Understand customer requirements and translate them into tailored embedded engineering service solutions
* Prepare commercial offers in close collaboration with engineering and delivery teams
* Contribute to the strategic development and positioning of the Austrian market
* Represent PROSAFETY at customer meetings, industry events, and selected trade fairs
* Work closely with management and internal stakeholders across teams
Your experience & mindset

You might be a great fit if you bring:
* A technical background (e.g. electrical engineering, computer science, automation, mechatronics) or comparable qualification
* Experience in technical sales, business development, or solution consulting ideally in an engineering or embedded systems context
* A solid understanding of embedded systems, software development, or automation technologies
* Confidence in customer-facing roles and strong relationship-building skills
* A structured, self-driven, and ownership-oriented working style, with the ability to operate independently and make sound decisions in an early-stage market setup
* English language: high professional proficiency (mandatory)
* Experience with the Austrian or broader DACH market is considered a strong advantage
