Overview
The Trade Service team in GTPS Vienna is promoting, managing and developing Trade Finance solutions for SG corporate clients in close cooperation with the Coverage team based in Austria (CORI), the global Trade Finance network of the bank and other departments of the Bank.
Responsibilities
* Organize client meetings and prepare them (collect client information, relationship data, etc.).
* Prepare client pitches: collect transaction documents and obtain respective approvals (term sheet, legal documentation, security documents, internal approvals, etc.).
* Preparation of client proposals.
* Accommodate the client onboarding process (preparation of initial documents, support in negotiation of pricing conditions, answer to process-related inquiries).
* Initiation of credit requests for new limits including preparation of credit applications and follow-up with Credit Analyst Teams; amendment/renewal of credit limits; monitoring of credit limit validity; provide information about exposure and answer product-related questions of internal teams.
* Prepare the negotiation and signing of facility agreements for trade instruments; manage ESG/sustainability linked facilities; prepare pitch and associated tasks; collect and circulate executed versions of legal documentation.
* Support the budget process and business review of the desk.
* Prepare internal reporting (ESG-related transactions, desk performance, HO inquiries, etc.).
* Provide information on product-related questions (guarantees, letters of credit).
* Facilitate the KYC process (business questionnaires in the frame of reviews, questions from KYC analyst teams).
* Respond to balance confirmation requests in collaboration with other business lines in relation to the client.
* Insert essential information into internal tools.
Qualifications and Skills
* Graduate with a Master degree from a Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance or Business Administration.
* Previous experience in Banking/Trade Services is appreciated.
* Language: Fluent in English is mandatory; fluent in German is a plus.
* Technical, operational & soft skills: good communication and presentation skills; proficient/good command of MS Office; time management, organizational and planning skills with proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; client-oriented work approach.
VIE Assignment Details
This VIE in Vienna is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months. The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.
