What We're Looking For
We are looking for a Solution Consultant to support the successful implementation of JAGGAER solutions and help customers achieve business value through digital procurement transformation. This role combines functional consulting, project delivery, stakeholder management, and business process optimization across complex implementation projects.
Principal Responsibilities
* Serve as a business and functional advisor on large, complex, cross-product implementation projects by translating business requirements into solution designs and configuring applications to meet client objectives.
* Design and deliver functional solutions in line with Statement of Work requirements, agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.
* Develop, maintain, and manage project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams across JAGGAER to address client needs, resolve issues, and support successful project outcomes.
* Manage a portfolio of implementation projects, including complex engagements, while balancing multiple priorities and project commitments.
* Identify, assess, and manage project risks including software issues, scope changes, and schedule impacts.
* Lead onsite and remote requirements-gathering workshops and stakeholder discussions.
* Build and maintain client relationships that support long-term customer success and satisfaction.
* Support the transition of customers from implementation to ongoing support and customer success teams.
* Monitor and manage project controls, including project hours, forecasting, resource utilization, and revenue objectives.
* Communicate project status, risks, decisions, and updates to clients and internal stakeholders, including senior leadership.
* Identify, document, and manage changes to project scope, timelines, resources, or budget through established change management processes.
* Provide guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentoring to colleagues while contributing to team development and project execution.
* Analyze client requirements and recommend business process improvements aligned with solution capabilities and industry best practices.
* Contribute to the development, promotion, and adoption of implementation methodologies, standards, and best practices.
* Participate in strategic, cross-functional, and continuous improvement initiatives in addition to client-facing project responsibilities.
Position Requirements
Must Have
* Bachelor's degree preferred.
* Minimum 4 years of professional business experience, including at least 3 years of experience in software implementation projects and/or consulting services within a client-facing environment.
* Experience with eProcurement, Supply Chain Management, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), or related enterprise software solutions is preferred.
* Experience implementing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions, ERP systems, and systems integrations is preferred.
* Familiarity with AI tools and technologies and an interest in their practical business application.
* Strong project management, stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, presentation, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to learn new concepts, contribute independently and collaboratively, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
* Ability to take initiative, exercise sound judgment, and drive tasks and issues through to completion.
* Experience facilitating discussions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings, including interaction with senior‑level stakeholders.
* Practical experience with project management methodologies; experience with the Waterfall methodology is preferred.
* Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required, typically 20-30% of working time. Valid passport required for international travel.
* Professional fluency in English. For Germany or Austria‑based customer engagements, German language skills are required or strongly preferred.

Compensation
To ensure transparency and fair hiring practices, the minimum salary for this position is €55,356. The minimum salary according to the applicable collective bargaining agreement (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte von Unternehmen im Bereich Dienstleistungen in der automatischen Datenverarbeitung und Informationstechnik) is €55,356 gross per year (job family according to collective bargaining agreement: ST1), with a willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience. The final offer will be determined based on objective, gender‑neutral criteria such as relevant experience, skills, and job‑related competencies.
