The Role

An exciting opportunity is now available within East Renfrewshire to become part of the Community Treatment and Care (CTAC) service. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Receptionist/Administration Officer to provide reception and administrative support to the Treatment Rooms across East Renfrewshire, as part of the wider Primary Care Improvement Plan (PCIP) implementation of the new GMS Contract, 2018.


Duration, Location, and Working Pattern

* This is a permanent post working 36 hours per week
* These hours will be worked 5 days over 7 days
* This post will be based at Eastwood Health & Care Centre / Barrhead Health & Care Centre
* Job share applicants will be considered


Key Responsibilities

Work as part of the Treatment Room team in an administrative and receptionist capacity. Provide single point of access for appointments and referrals, perform reception duties, data input and extrapolation, and update clinical records. Maintain daily contact with patients, GP practice teams, HSCP teams and other members of the public.


Competence, Training, Qualifications and Experience

* Demonstrated competence in the use of a range of computer packages, evidenced by experience or formal qualification.
* Knowledge of working in an office environment, and of the operation of office equipment and systems, acquired through formal training or work experience.
* Experience working in an administrative background.
* Good keyboard skills.
* Good planning and organisational skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Flexibility.
