HR BUSINESS PARTNER OPERATIONS
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) supports BRP‑Rotax business units with a strong focus on Operations (blue and white collar employees), aligning business objectives with workforce and people requirements on the shop floor.
The selected candidate will be a trusted advisor to line management, providing practical and solution‑oriented HR guidance on topics such as workforce planning, performance and talent management, engagement and employee relations, labor laws and compliance. The role partners across HR functions to deliver value‑adding services aligned with operational and business goals. They maintain a solid understanding of the business unit’s production processes, workforce structure, cost drivers, operational challenges, culture, and competitive environment to effectively support sustainable business performance.
Responsibilities
Partner closely with operations and production leaders to support people‑related topics.
Consult line management on day‑to‑day HR matters, providing pragmatic and operational HR guidance aligned with business and production needs.
Analyze HR trends and key metrics (e.g., headcount, absence, fluctuation, overtime) in cooperation with the HR team to develop appropriate solutions, programs, and policies.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary matters, grievances, and conflict situations; conduct thorough, objective, and compliant investigations.
Ensure strong knowledge and application of labor law, collective agreements, and internal regulations, reducing legal risks and ensuring full compliance; cooperate closely with Legal HR Manager and works councils as required.
Provide hands‑on support to line managers in performance management, including feedback, coaching, corrective actions, and development discussions.
Work closely with management, works councils, and employees to foster constructive labor relations, trust, and a positive shopfloor climate.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in HR, business administration, or related fields.
A specialization in labor law will represent a strong asset to cover the role successfully.
Minimum of 7 years' experience acting as HRBP in a complex environment in relevant industries.
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational development, employee and union relations, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 64,829.96 € gross/year according to the very attractive collective agreement of the metal industry. An overpayment is possible, depending on your qualifications and experience.
