Overview
Remote Sales Team Leader is responsible for definition and execution of the direct sales strategy through the Remote sales touchpoint. The main purpose is to significantly expand GP’s new customer acquisition capacity by opening and running acquisition channel as an alternative to the existing face-to-face sales process (through sales reps). Management and development of the assigned portfolio lead to increased value for GP clients as well as their satisfaction and loyalty.
Remote Sales Team Leader oversees and manages the internal or external outbound telesales department which is responsible for frontline processing all new business leads from all available sources (Bank, digital – online campaigns, third parties, member recommendations, general public enquiries etc.) and allocation to relevant channel in order to maximize efficiencies and improve conversion rates.
Responsibilities
* Overall management of the outbound Remote sales channel
* Selection, training, coaching and development of the agents
* Development and execution of strategy for initial remote sales processing of all incoming leads (qualification, scoring, segment setting etc.)
* Setting the strategy for closing deals with new customers – overall responsibility for execution of new client acquisition process (Gform, risk scoring, KYC processes, boarding)
* Qualification of leads, information gathering and appointment setting for field sales reps in case of leads not fit for remote sales process (due to complexity, size or other factors)
* Maintaining and improving set conversion rates
* Close coordination with individual members of field sales with the objective of improving conversion (some in-field presence with sales reps required)
* Interaction with key lead sources with the objective of improving quality and increasing the quantity of leads (some business trips required)
* Key collaboration with Pricing, Risk, Reporting, Customer Success, Product Management, Client Support, etc. departments.
* Support of external sales – identification of new lead sources and their onboarding
* Execution of X-sell campaigns to existing clients as per requirements
* Managing retention campaigns and care about all assigned segments
Knowledge and Skills Required
* Higher education preferred – preferably in finance, marketing, business administration
* Background in sales, preferably experience with B2B and acquiring sales
* Leadership skills with an ability to manage cross-cultural teams; this is a regional role covering all markets where GP operates with native speakers
* Ability to work in cross-functional teams
* High levels of energy
* Proactive, can-do attitude
* Orientation on results
* Good written and verbal communication in both EN and DE languages
* Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
* Demonstrate highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior
