We are launching the recruitment process now – apply today to be part of it. Following an initial round, the top candidates will be invited to attend an assessment centre at our Octapharma Group Headquarters in Lachen, Switzerland.

Join us in shaping our vision to provide new health solutions advancing human life.

Your main tasks and responsibilities

* Take responsibility for defined R&D and Quality‑related business applications or functional areas within the global application landscape, under the mentorship of the Group Senior Manager R&D Applications.
* Support the exploration and responsible use of AI‑supported functionalities within R&D applications.
* Drive the analysis and structuring of business requirements in collaboration with R&D, Quality, and Process Owners, translating them into clear solution concepts.
* Participate as a core team member in global projects, system enhancements, and rollouts across international sites.
* Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure stable, compliant, and user‑centric application solutions.
* Continuously build expertise in regulated R&D and Quality systems and progressively expand your scope of responsibility as part of the International Early Career Program.

Your expertise and ideal skill set

We are looking for someone with:

* A master’s degree in IT, Business Informatics, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a comparable discipline.
* Recent university graduation with a maximum of 3 years of professional experience (excluding internships).
* Strong interest in owning and shaping digital business applications in a R&D environment.
* The ability to analyse complex business processes and translate them into structured, pragmatic IT solutions.
* High learning agility, curiosity, and motivation to quickly build deep domain expertise.
* A confident, professional personality with the ability to communicate effectively in international, cross‑functional teams.
* Ambition to grow into a business application expert or future people leader.
* Willingness to move internationally for work assignments during the program.
* Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Your department – where you make an impact

We, the Business Applications department, are the trusted partner that drives the digital transformation of Octapharma. Together with Business, we create and deliver digital solutions to transform the organisation and improve performance.

* Work with skilled and fun colleagues in a relatively informal organisation.
* Skills development – As part of the IECP you will have the opportunity to enhance your professional competencies, broaden your international perspective and benefit from the guidance of a senior mentor.

Enjoy these attractive benefits! The minimum gross salary according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) is EU R 4.270,14 based on 38 hours per week (full‑time).
