Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Zeltweg or Graz, with flexibility for some remote work. The Senior Requirements Engineer will be responsible for defining, managing, and analyzing technical system and software requirements for railroad signaling and diagnostics systems. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring requirements compliance, and maintaining rigorous documentation standards. The engineer will participate in stakeholder meetings, elicit and refine requirements, and provide expertise in translating customer needs into actionable technical specifications.
Qualifications
* Proven expertise in System Requirements, Requirements Engineering, and Software Requirements
* Strong proficiency in Requirements Management methodologies and tools
* Outstanding Analytical Skills for assessing complex systems and problem-solving
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders
* Experience in railway infrastructure or signaling systems is a significant advantage
* Ability to work both independently and within a cross-functional team in a hybrid work environment
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
