Site Reliability Engineering Architect (f/m/x)
Are you eager to work in an environment where diversity, problem-solving, and openness are key to success? Our Site Reliability Engineering team is looking for a Site Reliability Engineering Architect who will drive the application and data platform design and development.
Your mission
1. Design and implement secure architectures, integrating security into automated workflows and platform development.
2. Create architectural diagrams, documentation, and guidelines to communicate design and security decisions effectively.
3. Actively identify innovation opportunities and improve technical solutions within the platform domain.
4. Provide technical leadership in the design and development of our self-service platform.
5. Monitor and optimize the performance of our platform and services, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce latency, and optimize costs.
6. Contribute to Cloud and DevOps guilds.
7. Provide technical leadership and guidance to the SRE team.
Your core competencies
1. Master’s degree in computer science, a related technical field involving software/systems engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
2. Teamwork - first and foremost, we're a team. We make decisions and stand behind them as a team.
3. Very good understanding of DevOps processes and good knowledge of toolset for continuous delivery (CD) (e.g., ArgoCD, Jenkins, TeamCity)
4. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
5. Good knowledge of Linux or UNIX-based system architecture
6. Experience with containers and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift is a big plus.
7. Experience with monitoring technologies (e.g., Prometheus, Datadog, Grafana, Kibana, Elasticsearch)
Nice to have
1. Experience architecting, developing, and troubleshooting large-scale systems.
2. Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks.
