MC Traffic is seeking an experienced and motivated Traffic Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day coordination and performance of our traffic workforce. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational effectiveness, client satisfaction, and worker support across the business.
You'll be responsible for managing scheduling and workforce planning, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards. With a blend of office-based responsibilities and regular engagement across the field, you’ll help drive continuous improvement, mentor team members, and support quality outcomes for our clients and workers.
We're looking for someone who:
* Has at least 5 years' experience in operations, ideally within traffic management or labour hire
* Brings a people-first leadership style, with a strong focus on mentoring, development, and support
* Is organised, calm under pressure, and solutions-focused when handling issues or incidents
* Understands compliance, safety, and performance — and how to maintain high standards across all three
* Looks for opportunities to improve systems, reduce inefficiencies, and increase productivity
* Supports the rollout and use of digital tools such as Traffio to enhance scheduling, reporting, and team communication
* Works well with others and drives collaboration across teams to deliver better results
