Besi Austria was founded in 1986 and has been part of the Dutch Besi Group since 2005. Our company, one of Besi´s R&D facilities, is located in Radfeld, Tyrol, where we have employees from over 25 nations.
Your areas of impact
* Define supply chain inside projects in close teamwork with Engineering, Planning, and Commodity Managers.
* Execute RFQ (Request for Quotation) process (incl. benchmark and DFM (Design for Manufacturing)).
* Organize material for prototype (fast lane), consider early involvement of suppliers in EU and Asia.
* Negotiate prices based on open calculation (incl. lead-time and total cost).
* Organize the launch of new products in operational procurement in Asia (Malaysia and China).
Your capacity for excellence
* Experience in managing procurement projects from start to finish, including contract negotiations and allocation of modules to module suppliers.
* Ability to read drawings and specifications and draw conclusions on supply chain requirements.
* Experience in analyzing and interpreting SCD data, as well as an affinity to connect data points and derive conclusions.
* Business fluent in German and English.
