Job Description
We are looking for a high-performing and experienced Project Manager (m/f/d) to take on a key position within our Systems and Software business unit. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility and authority for the implementation and execution of customer projects, mainly within the Life Science Industry.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful execution of projects across technical, commercial, and scheduling aspects to meet the requirements of end-users and Emerson Process Management.
Working within a large international company, you will collaborate across a highly matrixed organization with teams such as Lead Engineers, Engineering centers, and Sales to contribute to customer success.
Responsibilities
* Lead projects in close cooperation with Lead Engineers to ensure timely and successful completion within budget and schedule.
* Monitor project performance and progress, providing regular updates and forecasts.
* Coordinate communication between customers (internal and external), suppliers, and project teams.
* Assist the sales team with demonstrations, presentations, and project estimation.
* Coordinate all commercial and technical issues related to projects with engineering teams and clients.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.
* Adhere to Trade Compliance Policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electrical or Process Automation Engineering; PMP certification is a plus.
* Several years of post-graduate experience in an engineering project environment, preferably in control systems for the Life Science or Chemical industry.
* Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is highly preferred.
* Proficiency with Project Management tools and MS Office applications.
* Experience with financial and contractual aspects of project management.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with tact and diplomacy.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational skills, and business acumen.
* Proficiency in German and English, both oral and written.
* Willingness to travel occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications
* Proficiency in an additional European language.
* Experience working within a matrix organization.
