Role: CAD Manager
We rely on you to:
1. Create designs independently under broad direction from the Project Engineer or Project Manager.
2. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of BIM, design development, construction documents, and engineering principles.
3. Provide first-level support for software applications, networked systems, and hardware, including printers and department-specific tools.
4. Identify and resolve client issues related to office automation equipment, hardware, and software.
5. Coordinate the purchase, installation, and implementation of office automation hardware and software per department standards.
6. Develop tools and procedures for daily LAN support operations.
7. Complete projects with distinctive design features, differing from BIM Technician precedents.
8. Supervise or directly prepare drawings with BIM Technicians of lesser experience.
9. Collaborate with client or contractor representatives as needed.
10. Perform other duties as required.
Preferred Qualifications
* Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience preferred.
* Experience working on rail and transportation projects is preferred.
* Preference for local candidates.
Required Qualifications
* Technical degree or relevant experience.
* At least 5 years in digital design (BIM) and 5 years in digital delivery (model management).
* Understanding of building systems and operations.
* Advanced skills in 3D design software, document management, and coordination tools.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication tools.
* Knowledge of industry standards, automation, and programming applications.
* Excellent client service, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
