For its office in Graz, our client is currently looking for a System Engineer (m/f/d) .
Responsibilities
Set up and configure system infrastructure, including HP server/client hardware and Cisco/HP Aruba switches
Install and configure Linux operating systems (preferably RedHat) using Ansible
Configure, tune and maintain proprietary in-house software solutions
Execute configuration and operational tasks such as build scripts, monitoring, system control and automation
Create, validate, and execute of system test procedures aligned with customer requirements and project quality standards
Plan, manage, and deliver work packages (design, configuration, testing), using JIRA and Confluence for tracking and documentation
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and full alignment with customer needs
Skills and Qualifications
Degree in computer science, engineering or a comparable field, or equivalent relevant professional experience
Strong hands-on knowledge of Linux (preferably RedHat)
Good understanding of network fundamentals and technologies (Layer 2/3; Cisco/Aruba)
Experience with automation and DevOps tools (e.g. Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes)
Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting
Strong general IT and engineering skills, with a structured, analytical and solution-oriented approach
Working knowledge of project management and documentation tools (JIRA, Confluence)
Experience with AutoCAD/QGIS and knowledge of A-SMGCS technology are a plus
Excellent English skills (spoken and written); basic German skills are an advantage

The minimum salary for this position, as per the IT collective agreement, is 3,843.00 € gross per month. However, there is a possibility of offering a higher salary based on your qualifications and professional experience.
