Key Responsibilities
* Support financial services M&A transactions (in Austria, CEE and wider Europe), including banking, distressed credit/equity, securitizations, and private credit funding.
* Analyze and model data to assist with transaction execution and structuring.
* Draft process materials such as sale process memorandums and bidding letter templates.
* Assist with project management by coordinating work with multiple teams, including clients and third-party advisors, and providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders.
* Support business development through market research, preparing client events, and drafting business proposals.
* Engage in other business segments of PwC as needed.
Formal Requirements
* A completed degree in business, ideally focusing on banking, corporate finance, accounting, or business law.
* At least 2 years of professional experience in related activities (including internships).
* Strong understanding of the Financial Services industry, including regulation, accounting, and banks’ asset management processes.
* Exceptional analytical skills and numerical aptitude.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI knowledge is strongly preferred.
* Professional proficiency in German and English; proficiency in a CEE language is a plus.
* Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, flexibility, and enjoyment of project-based collaboration in interdisciplinary teams.

Your annual gross target salary is at least EUR 56,000 (all-in) for a Senior Associate position and EUR 49,000 (all-in) for an Associate position. Depending on your qualifications and experience, we will agree on your actual salary in a personal interview. Do you have more to offer than the minimum? We do too.
