We are looking for an experienced and talented General Accountant for our location in Austria. This position is based in our office in Salzburg.
General Accountant (m/w/d)
Responsibilities:
* Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to local GAAP and US GAAP for the Dentsply Sirona Austria GmbH in collaboration with Global Booking Service
* Monthly preparation of manual journal entries (e.g. accruals) and on time reporting into Hyperion
* Project involvement SAP S/4 go live
* Ensure correct implementation of SoX and CFAM policies as well as compliance with legal requirements
* External reporting (e.g. ÖNB, Statistik Austria)
* Serve as contact person for internal and external auditors
Requirements:
* Completed business education, Accountant certification ("Bilanzbuchhalter/in")
* Several years of excellent track record in Accounting with a large global organization, preferably with a publicly traded company
* In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and policies; US GAAP, SOX and high-level understanding of local statutory rules and regulations (UGB)
* High analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written/oral communication skills in German and English
* Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Excel) and ERP (Hyperion and SAP)

* Our compensation packages are competitive and take individual qualifications and experience into consideration. In accordance with the Austrian collective labor agreement, we advise that the minimum gross annual salary for this role is EUR 34.594,00.
