Allerton Bishop is proud to be supporting a leading pharmaceutical logistics provider as they appoint a Business Development Director to lead commercial growth across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
This is a senior, high-impact role focused on winning and developing strategic relationships across pharmaceutical, biotech, and life-sciences customers, with particular emphasis on GxP-regulated logistics, cold chain, and complex supply solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As Business Development Director, you will take full ownership of the DACH commercial agenda, working closely with global and regional leadership to expand market presence and drive sustainable revenue growth.
Owning and executing the DACH business development strategy.
Developing senior-level relationships across pharma, biotech, and life sciences.
Identifying, shaping, and closing complex logistics and supply chain solutions.
Leading long-cycle, consultative sales processes with multiple stakeholders.
As the Director of Business Development, you will collaborating with operations, quality, and global commercial teams to ensure delivery excellence.
Representing the business at industry events, conferences, and client forums.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Proven experience in business development or commercial leadership within pharmaceutical logistics, supply chain, or related life-sciences services
Strong understanding of GDP, GxP, cold chain, and regulated environments
A successful track record of winning and growing strategic DACH accounts
Fluency in German and English (essential)
