The Global Quality and PSRA Management department invites regulatory experts to apply for the role of Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs Leader.
Key Responsibilities:
* Control and manage regulatory strategies for global product safety and regulatory processes to deliver a competitive and safe target product profile.
* Lead and develop the product safety and regulatory affairs team, ensuring their performance and overall accountability.
* Establish regulatory and product safety priorities or budgets and allocate resources and workloads to cross-functional partners and customers at global, regional, and local levels.
* Manage certification portfolios and new certification requests to demonstrate the safety and compliance of Lenzing fibers for their use in appropriate areas.
* Interact with national and international agencies, external certification bodies, and associations.
* Control the development, maintenance, and dissemination of high-quality documents for product safety and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
* An advanced degree in natural/technical sciences (ideally in chemistry, biology, or related fields) with a strong background in regulatory affairs and product safety.
* Exceptional knowledge of global legislations, regulations, standards, and norms applicable to cellulosic fibers and products, with respect to product, process, and environmental safety.
* Extensive experience in business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources.
* Proactive monitoring of industry developments, specifically in relation to textile and nonwoven fibers and components.
* Exceptional personal skills for building internal and external stakeholder relationships.
* Minimum C2 English skills; German, Bahasa Indonesian, and/or Chinese would be an asset.
