In this role, you will become part of a small and highly specialized team responsible for the continuous development of our Jeppesen Foreflight Crew Management Systems.
Tasks
You develop, implement, and maintain Rave rules to support and optimize crew scheduling and tracking.
You create and execute test cases to validate rule functionality and overall system behavior.
You support the calibration and tuning of optimization parameters.
You translate business requirements into technical implementations within the Jeppesen systems (e.g. JCR, JCT).
You analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
You collaborate closely with end users and Crew Management subject matter experts.
You contribute to the continuous development of our Crew Management System landscape, including rostering and tracking solutions.
Requirements
You have a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
You have at least 2 years of experience with Jeppesen Foreflight Crew Management systems, particularly developing Rave rules.
You have experience with JCR on Studio and/or JCT on Atrium, which is considered a strong advantage.
You bring solid programming experience in Python or other programming languages as an alternative to direct JCR/JCT experience, combined with the motivation to develop Rave expertise.
You are able to translate operational requirements into technical solutions and implementations and have strong analytical skills and approach problem-solving in a structured way.
You enjoy working independently within a small, highly specialized team and have a good understanding of airline crew scheduling concepts.
You are willing to relocate to Vienna, Austria.
