In this exciting role, you will take ownership of selected sourcing groups in the Hydraulics & Equipment category and act as the driving force for strategic procurement initiatives. As a central interface to suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will shape global sourcing strategies, optimize processes, and ensure long‑term supplier performance. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Drive the development and implementation of global sourcing strategies for selected product and sourcing groups
* Independently manage projects and ensure the professional steering of assigned procurement areas
* Oversee supplier management from both technical and commercial perspectives
* Conduct Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses to enable data‑driven decisions
* Actively contribute to process optimization initiatives within Strategic Procurement (Process Excellence)
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
* Several years of professional experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or a comparable role (experience in hydraulics or technical procurement is a strong advantage)
* Technical and/or commercial education (e.g., technical apprenticeship, HTL, technical college, university degree)
* Strong IT user skills, ideally including SAP R/3, SAP S/4HANA and MS Office
* Fluent English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
* Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with willingness to travel internationally

Minimum yearly gross salary according to the Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 53.241,02 based on full‑time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market‑conform overpayment.
