Role Summary This role coordinates and delivers forest- and fibre-related sustainability initiatives across the Mondi Group, supporting the implementation of MAP2030 goals for forests, wood, and biomass. It focuses on certification, policy monitoring, compliance, stakeholder collaboration, and reporting to ensure responsible fibre sourcing across international operations. Responsibilities Coordinate forest and fibre sustainability activities across the Group in close collaboration with Sustainability, Fibre Sourcing, and local operations. Support and drive the implementation of MAP2030 goals related to forests, wood, and biomass. Coordinate and guide national forest policy / sustainability experts across Europe via dotted-line responsibility. Manage fibre and biomass certification targets, progress tracking, and local or regional sustainability initiatives. Engage with certification schemes and third-party bodies (e.g. FSC, PEFC, SURE) and support audit and compliance activities. Monitor EU and national forest policy and regulatory developments and contribute to compliance coordination. Support stakeholder engagement, partnerships, and participation in R&D projects across the forest value chain. Contribute to internal and external reporting, benchmarking, project tracking, and represent Fibre Sourcing in relevant working groups. Profile Strong knowledge and insight into international forest policies and laws, as well as EU regulations on forests and wood-based products (such as EUDR, RED, etc.) A minimum of three years’ experience in forest policy, sustainability, and/or forest certification at the international level is required, preferably within the pulp and paper industry. Operational expertise in forest management is considered advantageous. Master’s degree in forestry from an accredited university Good knowledge of the Eur
