Early Childhood Educator – Infant/Toddler Group (f/m/x, Maternity Cover)
Strengthen our “Fischegruppe” as an Early Childhood Educator (f/m/x) in an 18-month maternity cover position. You support children holistically, design pedagogical activities, communicate respectfully with parents and colleagues, and handle administrative tasks with care.
Job Description
* Sensitive, individual care and holistic support for the children in our “Fischegruppe”
* Planning, implementation and reflection of pedagogical work
* Trustful collaboration and open communication with parents and colleagues
* Careful execution of administrative tasks such as documentation
* Willingness to participate in trainings and professional development
Qualifications
* Completed training as an Early Childhood Educator
* Ideally, professional experience in pedagogical work with toddlers
* Enthusiasm for age-appropriate support and guidance
* Warmth, empathy, flexibility and patience in working with children and parents
* Strong team skills, appreciative communication and commitment to a supportive environment
* Very good German language skills, spoken and written

* Childcare shift: Monday to Thursday: 11:30 a.m. until 05:00 p.m. and Friday: 07:00 a.m. until 01:00 p.m.

We offer a fair and market‑aligned salary based on the collective agreement for employees in the metal trade – adjusted to the regional conditions of the Styrian labor market. The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is €3,150 (based on full‑time employment). What truly counts for us are your personality, your skills, and the experience you bring. That’s why we take the time to determine your actual gross salary individually and are happy to offer a higher pay in recognition of your qualifications.
