Join our Global Ecommerce Team as an International Amazon Key Account Manager at our Global HQ in Salzburg, Austria!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Areas that play to your strengths

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

1. You’ll be responsible for building a cohesive global strategy and driving best practice sharing across regions. You’ll develop the Amazon Global strategy and deliver it through comprehensive frameworks, playbooks, and templates. You’ll support local teams in shaping and executing their local strategies — from deal event promotional planning to Amazon advertising retail media strategies, as well as in-stock and operational excellence initiatives. Additionally, you’ll drive cross-market collaboration by organizing regular business reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and training programs to ensure alignment and continuous improvement across all markets.

2. You’ll play a key role in shaping the foundation of Red Bull’s partnership with Amazon. You’ll develop and execute a unified negotiation framework under the mandate of local markets, aligning trade terms, promotional strategies, and compliance requirements across regions. You’ll work closely with local Key Account Managers, as well as Finance, Legal, and Operations teams, to ensure a seamless negotiation process that prioritizes local market needs while balancing global objectives. You’ll also drive efficiency by shortening negotiation cycles and harmonizing terms, ultimately delivering stronger, mutually beneficial outcomes for both Red Bull and Amazon.

3. You’ll support local Key Account Management and Operations teams in identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks. You’ll build and maintain dashboards to track trade terms, promotional calendars, and compliance metrics, ensuring visibility and alignment across markets. You’ll launch targeted initiatives to reduce chargebacks, shortages, and penalties, setting clear improvement goals and monitoring progress. Additionally, you’ll streamline processes to free up local KAMs’ bandwidth, allowing them to focus on what matters most — driving growth and performance in their respective markets.

4. You’ll lead the optimization of Amazon promotions to drive stronger ROI and accelerate sales growth. You’ll design coordinated promotional strategies that maximize impact across multiple markets, ensuring alignment and efficiency. You’ll collaborate closely with local teams to enhance retail media planning and execution, particularly during key Deal Events. By analyzing results and performance data, you’ll identify opportunities for continuous optimization and future growth, ensuring every campaign delivers measurable value.

5. You’ll act as the trusted partner and central point of contact for Amazon, ensuring alignment and consistency across all markets. You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with Amazon’s key stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration at a strategic level. You’ll establish clear governance structures — defining roles, responsibilities, and approval processes — to enable smooth and efficient operations. Additionally, you’ll serve as the voice of Red Bull’s markets, escalating and resolving critical issues with Amazon to ensure both partnership success and operational excellence.

6. 5–8+ years in Amazon Vendor Management (1P) or eCommerce account management, ideally within FMCG
7. University degree or comparable education
8. Fluency in English, other languages are a plus
9. Proven success in leading complex negotiations, shaping trade terms, and driving sales growth across multiple markets
10. Deep expertise in Amazon’s ecosystem — including Vendor Central, promotional mechanics, and retail media — plus strong understanding of eCommerce operations and compliance
11. Strategic and analytical leader with the ability to align cross-functional teams, interpret data, and turn insights into action
12. Excellent communicator and problem-solver, skilled at stakeholder management and navigating complexity to deliver results
13. Travel 20-30%
