We partner with clients to strengthen their safety management system and improve how the manage operational risks. Our clients include large mining, utilities and construction companies seeking to better control risks that could lead to serious injuries and fatalities.
About the Role
Working from home and within client offices and worksites, you will collaborate with stakeholders across all organisational levels to:
Conduct audits and gap assessments
Develop action plans to address issues and opportunities
Oversee and deliver agreed improvement actions
We're looking for a detail-focused Senior Consultant with strong analytical ability, a technical mindset and a passion for clear documentation and structured project delivery. You will analyse data, prepare documentation, and develop high-quality presentations to support project outcomes. A methodical, organised professional who enjoys working with data, documents and systems, and who can operate effectively in complex operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
Scope projects, ensuring clarity on objectives, deliverables and inclusions
Establish, manage and report on project schedules
Engage multiple stakeholders across management, engineering, operations and maintenanceAnalyse data to identify incident trends and patterns
Draft high-quality documents including reports, policies, procedures, forms and other supporting materials
Develop change management materials such as slide packs and communications to support organisational change
Qualifications
A tertiary qualification in one of the following (or similar)
Safety
Business
Law
Skills and Experience
An understanding of WHS legislation, concepts and frameworks
Experience and strong knowledge of safety risks and controls in heavy industry environments such as mining, utilities, construction or manufacturing
Strong data analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and patterns
High proficiency with Microsoft 365 to develop polished documents and presentations
