Your Role
As a Part‑Time Software Engineer (20h per week), you will work closely with our developer team and contribute directly to our core product. Your work will span development, testing, and analysis, with a strong focus on building reliable and scalable production systems. You will also be exposed to data and AI systems.
Your Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain our data collection pipeline and database
* Implement and manage API integrations
* Write clean, production‑ready code
* Design, implement, and maintain software tests (unit, integration, and basic end‑to‑end testing)
* Coordinate and collaborate with the developer team on software development and testing activities
* Support the creation of LLM‑based workflows
* Perform data analysis to support product development and insights
* Write and maintain technical documentation
Your Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
* At least 1 year of practical work experience
* Strong experience with Python
* Experience with SQL and databases
* Proficient with Git and Docker
* Comfortable working in English and German
* Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a startup environment
* Currently enrolled in a Master’s program
* Experience with Apache Airflow
* Experience with DevOps

What you should know
We are a small startup with teams based in Vienna (tech) and Dornbirn (business). A startup can be stressful, chaotic and lack structure. Overhours can happen and are expected if really necessary. We will do our best to not let this happen but it can. On other hand, we are a promising startup and we’re about to grow. You and your position are growing with the company.
