Overview
As the Senior Analyst - Investment Performance, you'll play a crucial role in delivering independent investment performance reporting and attribution analysis. You'll work directly with investment management and execution teams to provide valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Location: Melbourne or Sydney, Australia.
Responsibilities
* Subject matter expert in Investment Performance; deliver impact performance insights across portfolios, asset classes and investment options, integrated into the development of investment strategy.
* Develop and maintain performance measurement and attribution models; ensure accuracy and integrity of performance databases.
* Collaborate with investment managers on investment reviews and investment committee presentations; contribute to system and reporting improvement initiatives.
About you / Qualifications
* Significant experience in investment performance analysis and reporting; strong understanding of attribution models and methodologies, including Fixed Income attribution.
* Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements for superannuation fund investment reporting; working knowledge of complex financial instruments and their performance measurement.
Technical Skills
* Proficiency with investment platforms (e.g., Simcorp, Bloomberg, Factset); advanced SQL/Python; experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities; in-depth understanding of superannuation investment structures.
