Your main tasks and responsibilites
* Execute preparative small-scale experiments, such as chromatography, filtration, precipitation, and measurement of process parameters, independently in the R&D process science lab according to defined protocols
* Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and systems (e.g. ÄKTA systems, filtration and analytical devices), contribute to lab organisation
* Ensure continuity of laboratory operations and continuous improvements in compliance with EHS, LIMS (e.g. management of samples, chemicals, SOPs)
* Perform data evaluations and documentation in accordance with GLP requirements
* Participate in troubleshooting, method optimization, and continuous improvement
* Support transfer and scale-up of processes and methods from laboratory to pilot scale in collaboration with Production, Manufacturing Science & Technology, Quality and other R&D areas
Your expertise and ideal skill set
* HTL diploma, technical college, or BSc in biotechnology, chemistry, or a related discipline
* Minimum 2–5 years of relevant laboratory experience in R&D or Manufacturing in GxP regulated setting
* Experience in protein purification (e.g., chromatography, filtration) and analytical techniques, ideally within the plasma-derived product portfolio
* Strong practical and technical laboratory skills, including a proven track record for lab equipment responsibility
* Accurate mindset for HSE, GxP, and quality documentation principles
* Strong organizational and communication skills, with a proactive, result-driven and collaborative mindset
* Proficient in German and English (oral + written), MS Office 365

The minimum gross salary according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) is EUR 3.395,16 based on 38 hours per week (full-time). As we strive to offer a salary that reflects your individual profile and qualifications, there is a willingness to pay above the minimum salary.
