Mission
Develop custom applications, modules and functions to meet specific customer requirements and identify and optimize existing solutions to increase efficiency
Apply programming languages, especially JavaScript, to develop scripts, business rules, client scripts and UI policies
Use middleware and integration solutions to ensure seamless communication between different systems and implement user feedback into development work
Create user‐friendly interfaces and implement responsive designs for a positive user experience across devices
Identify and fix technical issues within the ServiceNow applications and comply with best practices and standards to ensure maintainability and scalability of the solutions
Collaborate with project teams, document developed solutions and train new team members while continuously staying up to date with new ServiceNow features and technologies
Skills
Essential: Comprehensive understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM) and data models with basic SQL knowledge for data analysis
Desired: Master ServiceNow development tools (Studio, Scoped Applications, Update Sets) and strong JavaScript knowledge, including scripting concepts such as Scripted REST APIs, business rules, and client scripts
Experience with the implementation and use of REST and SOAP APIs and knowledge of integration solutions for data exchange between ServiceNow and other systems
Understanding of UI principles and user experience, with experience in customizing forms, lists, and dashboards
Ability to debug scripts, conduct unit and integration testing, create and maintain technical documentation, apply agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and commitment to continuous learning in new ServiceNow features
As an experienced consultant and structured team player with high initiative, you possess excellent communication skills and fluent German and English
