Python Developer (m/f/d) in High-Tech Start-Up
As part of our team, you will work on integration modules and algorithms on time series. This position is focused on programming reliable data connectors as part of our product.
What you will do
* Implementing integrations with time series data base systems and other third party systems, automatization feature.
* Evaluate requirements and specifications, perform effort estimations, and write test cases for tasks and projects.
* Participate in agile development practices, including stand-ups, sprint plannings and demo/retro sessions.
Your profile
* 2+years experience in writing modular, maintainable Python code, while keeping in mind Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
* Quick learner when it comes to understanding underlying business problems and customer requirements
* You value teamwork and don’t hesitate to help your teammates, occasionally pair-programming to solve blockers
* Independent and pragmatic, demonstrating strong ownership and accountability
* You have a valid work permission for Austria
* You are based in Austria with the ability to travel to our office several times per month, or you are located in Vienna and available to work from our office three times per week
Nice to have
* Degree in Computer Science, or a similar field
* Experience with time series database systems, REST APIs, GUI frameworks
* Some experience with C++ (Python interfaces with our C++ application core)
* Some knowledge of German is a plus
Please note: This position is focused on programming reliable data connectors as part of our product and is not focusing on AI/ML/data science or R&D.

Employment details
This position can be a part-time starting from 30h/week or as a full-time position 38.5h/week with a minimum salary 47.600 € gross/year for full-time employment.
Higher salary is possible based on qualifications.
