Über die Position
Als Learning & Development Manager im Mandarin Oriental, Vienna bist du Teil des People & Culture Teams und für verschiedene Aufgaben verantwortlich. Du berichtest an unsere Director of People & Culture.
Deine Aufgaben als Learning & Development Manager:
* Analyse und Priorisierung von Lern- und Entwicklungsbedürfnissen gemäß dem Hotel-Geschäftsplan.
* Erstellung und Umsetzung eines jährlichen L&D-Plans für alle Kolleg*innen.
* Planung, Organisation und Evaluierung interner sowie externer Trainings (inkl. Retreats, Cross-Exposure, Selbststudium).
* Durchführung der Kolleg*innen-Orientierung gemäß Unternehmensstandards.
* Unterstützung von Abteilungsleiterinnen und Trainerinnen bei der Entwicklung von Trainingsplänen.
* Auswahl, Schulung und Betreuung von Abteilungstrainer*innen.
* Organisation und Dokumentation von Off-Job-Trainings und Schulungsmaßnahmen.
* Aufbau und Pflege von Beziehungen zu Bildungseinrichtungen sowie Koordination von Praktika.
* Monatliche Berichterstattung an das Executive Committee zu L&D-Aktivitäten und -Fortschritten.
* Budgetverantwortung für den L&D-Bereich inkl. monatlicher Ausgabenkontrolle.
* Sicherstellung der Einhaltung gesetzlicher Schulungsanforderungen (z.B. FLHS&S, HACCP)
* Unterstützung von HR-Prozessen wie Interviews, Coaching und Onboarding in Zusammenarbeit mit People & Culture
* Förderung der Karriereentwicklung über das MO Profile Online-System
* Monatliche Feedback- und Info-Meetings mit Kolleg*innen zur Förderung der internen Kommunikation
* Sicherstellung der Einhaltung aller Hotel- und Unternehmensrichtlinien, inkl. Datenschutz, IT-Nutzung und Social Media

About the Position
As a Learning & Development Manager at Mandarin Oriental, Vienna, you will be part of the People & Culture team and responsible for a variety of tasks. You will report to our Director of People & Culture.
As Learning & Development Manager you will be responsible for the following tasks:
* Identify and prioritize learning and development needs in alignment with the hotel’s business plan
* Develop and implement the annual Learning & Development (L&D) plan for all colleagues
* Plan, organize, and evaluate internal and external training programs, including retreats, cross‑exposure, and self‑study formats
* Conduct colleague orientation in line with company standards
* Support department heads and departmental trainers in creating tailored training plans
* Select, train, and support departmental trainers across all divisions
* Organize and maintain records of off‑the‑job training and development activities
* Build and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, and universities; coordinate internships and guest lectures
* Prepare monthly L&D reports for the hotel’s Executive Committee
* Manage the L&D budget and monitor monthly spending
* Ensure compliance with legal training requirements (e.g. FLHS&S, HACCP)
* Collaborate with the Director of People & Culture on recruitment, coaching, onboarding, and other HR functions
* Promote colleague development and career paths using the MO Profile Online system
* Conduct monthly colleague meetings to address concerns and share departmental/hotel updates
* Ensure adherence to hotel and corporate policies, including data protection, IT usage, and social media guidelines
