Your workplace: As a Senior Lecturer, you will be involved in teaching in the field of German as a Second Language across different educational levels (primary, lower secondary, upper secondary, and tertiary education). Continuous engagement with current research developments, further didactic training and the assumption of research tasks, primarily during non-teaching periods, are expected. In addition, supervising students and carrying out administrative tasks, particularly in the administration of teaching, form part of the position. Your responsibilities: You will be actively involved in academic teaching, research and administration. Your responsibilities include: Independently conducting courses in Bachelor´s and Master´s degree programs in accordance with the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. In the case of full-time employment, the average teaching load is 14 hours per week per semester. Actively contributing to the (further) development of teaching and examination formats. Ongoing engagement with the current state of research, didactic further training and the assumption of research tasks during non-teaching periods. Taking on administrative duties, particularly in the administration of teaching.
