Job Description
We are implementing a multi-wave SAP S/4HANA program across several regions and countries. Two pilot countries are already live, with ongoing enhancement requests and defect resolution. We are seeking an experienced Test Manager (m/f/d) to join the program team to ensure quality and stability throughout further deployments and ongoing improvements.
Responsibilities
* Own and lead the end-to-end test strategy across all S/4HANA deployment waves and releases.
* Define, plan, and coordinate all test phases: SIT, UAT, regression, non-functional testing (e.g., performance).
* Collaborate with sub-projects to align testing scope, test data, tools, and timelines.
* Manage and prioritize defect triage, re-testing, and release sign-offs.
* Support testing of enhancements and bug fixes in already-live countries (continuous delivery track).
* Implement test automation for regression testing.
* Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and execution results.
* Utilize testing tools such as SAP Solution Manager, Tricentis/TOSCA, JIRA/XRay, or similar.
* Coordinate test environments and work closely with deployment, release management, and change management teams.
* Track quality KPIs and communicate testing status to program leadership.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Test Manager in complex SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP transformation programs.
* Strong understanding of SAP test methodologies and processes.
* Experience with SAP Activate methodology, Agile and Scrum.
* Familiarity with test automation tools, test management tools, and defect tracking systems.
* Hands-on experience with S/4HANA modules (Finance, Logistics, or others) is a strong plus.
* Able to work cross-functionally across business, IT, and external implementation partners.
* Structured, detail-oriented, and quality-focused mindset.
* Fluent in English; German and other languages are a plus.

* Salary package and benefits: The collective minimum monthly salary for this position is € 3.954,32 (monthly gross salary, 14 x per year). Willingness to overpay depending on experience.
