We are looking to hire a Brand Development Manager to define, build, and actively manage pbx's brand and its positioning in a complex and highly competitive market environment. As a small but growing company, we work cross-functionally, take responsibility beyond our own roles, and think holistically to establish pbx as a credible, independent and customer-centric European technology leader in zero-emission transport refrigeration.This role combines strategic brand leadership with hands-on execution. You shape how pbx is perceived by customers, partners, suppliers, and the wider industry, and actively bring the company and its technology into the spotlight across Europe. To be successful in this role, you are comfortable working independently in a dynamic start-up environment and taking ownership of both strategy and execution.Brand Development Manager ResponsibilitiesYou define and manage pbx's brand positioning to ensure clear differentiation on the market. You translate company values, innovation strength, service excellence, and partnerships into a consistent and credible brand narrative that supports long-term visibility and market positioning.You actively create, co-design, and shape all content released by pbx and ensure it adds clear value to the brand and its positioning. You develop content ideas and work hands-on on their execution. You plan, own, and execute product release events, trade fair appearances, and all brand-relevant internal and external events. You collaborate closely with management and all teams to turn insights, progress, and perspectives into meaningful outputs. You take responsibility for the quality, relevance, and impact of all content and activities carried out under the pbx brand and ensure they consistently strengthen the it's visibility, credibility, and presence in the market.You own pbx's strategic communication and core messaging. You decide what the company communicates, how messages are framed, and who represents pbx on specific topics. You ensure consistent communication across the company's teams and support sensitive stakeholder communication involving partners, customers, suppliers and investors.Brand Development Manager RequirementsBackground or hands-on experience in brand positioning, marketing, communications, or a related field, with a strong interest in strategic marketing and brand positioningHands-on creator mindset, comfortable acting as a texter and prompter and shaping content across formats using state-of-art toolsAffinity for digital tools, design, and comfortable with different content formats, such as static content, short videos, podcastsAbility to recognize the right moments and places for pbx to be visible and to position the company's leadership and experts on relevant stages, platforms, and networks.Hands-on capability to plan and execute product releases, events, and trade fairs, owning budgets, coordination, and delivery from concept to execution.Clear and confident communicator, able to collaborate with management, teams, and external service suppliersComfortable in a fast-moving start-up, where passion, trust, pragmatism, and impact matter more than titles, processes, or politicsCOMPENSATIONDue to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € gross per year on fulltime base.
