* This role is Permanent Full‑time, 76hrs/fortnight

* As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts and alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday)
About this work area
As a Food Operations Manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Lead and coach the operations team in optimising and developing the IKEA Food business, safeguarding the brand position, strategy, legal compliance, and people & planet values across all IKEA touchpoints
* Support your leadership team in managing recruitment, retention, performance management, succession planning and competence development of the team
* Formulate, lead and execute the department’s action plans and oversee the store business plan
* Secure processes and procedures to ensure quality of food, food safety, operational excellence and waste reduction
* Implement global and national compliance standards, manage the food supply chain and range competence within the store
* Secure an irresistible food offer by ensuring quality and an appealing range presentation
