Your Tasks
You will play an active role in shaping the group-wide IFRS 17 implementation for life and health insurance within Vienna Insurance Group. Working in an international environment, you will contribute to the interpretation, validation and further development of IFRS 17 results and methodologies across multiple markets. You will work in an international team and gain deep insights into the financial steering of the leading insurance group in CEE.
* Analyze, validate and interpret IFRS 17 results and their key drivers for Life and Health insurance portfolios
* Collaborate with finance and IT teams to define business requirements and interfaces to finance systems
* Support the roll‑out of IFRS 17 methodologies and the integration of new entities
* Develop and implement meaningful key performance indicators
* Conduct ongoing performance analyses, identify optimisation potential and prepare management reports to support decision‑making processes
* Master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, actuarial science or similar
* Several years of relevant professional experience (approx. 3+ years), with strong understanding of actuarial valuation techniques and insurance products
* Experience with actuarial software or tools (e.g. Prophet, Python, R, SQL, or similar)
* Sound understanding of insurance contract accounting standards (including local operative fields)
* Team‑oriented mindset with strong communication skills, especially when dealing with complex topics
* Analytical thinking, a holistic perspective and a results‑driven approach
* Very good command of German and English, written and spoken

Based on the legal requirements, we inform about the monthly minimum salary according to the collective agreement of EUR 3,556.03 gross on the basis of full‑time employment (37.5 hours / week). Of course, the remuneration package is market‑compliant. It is important to us that your salary is based on your qualifications and experience, therefore we will discuss the salary together in a personal interview.
This full‑time position is to be filled as soon as possible.
