As a Senior Manager Strategy and M&A (part of SWARCO’s Strategy / M&A team), you will be responsible for driving corporate strategy at Group level and leading the end-to-end Mergers & Acquisitions process. From day one, you will contribute to a major global transformation program, covering a broad range of strategic initiatives and M&A activities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders to deliver impactful projects aligned with our global business objectives and growth strategy.
Responsibilities
Playing a key role in a global transformation program across strategy and M&A workstreams
Driving and supporting corporate strategy development at SWARCO Group level, including strategic planning and growth initiatives
Leading and managing the lifecycle of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint venture transactions
Leading global strategy and M&A projects, managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Identifying and evaluating potential M&A targets based on market and sector research
Coordinating Due Diligence processes and shaping integration planning for success
Creating financial models and conducting corporate valuation analyses
Crafting business plans, conducting strategic and financial analyses, and determining synergies
Developing transaction structures with Group Legal and Group Accounting & Controlling
Preparing and negotiating transaction documents (LOI, NBO, SPA, APA, JVA, etc.)
Communicating strategic recommendations to senior leadership through structured presentations
Preparing and managing post-merger integration (PMI) processes to maximize value creation
Qualifications
Successfully completed business or comparable university degree (Master’s degree or MBA)
Several years (10+) of international professional experience in a demanding consulting environment or at a corporate development department
Proven experience in strategy development and transaction execution
Strong analytical thinking and structured, solution-oriented working style
Profound knowledge and experience in managing projects and teams as well as high customer and service orientation
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work under pressure and with integrity
Entrepreneurial thinking, commitment, sense of responsibility and passion for strategy and M&A
Fluency in English, both written and spoken; other languages are considered a plus
Flexibility and willingness to travel

We offer a very attractive and performance-related salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This is significantly above the collective agreement for employees and apprentices in commercial enterprises.
