Responsibilities
Analyze and co-create specifications and requirements
Create concepts and proofs of concept for image‑processing hardware‑and software systems
Develop, integrate, and qualify systems, working closely with adjacent departments and other development sites
Support the implementation of quality assurance methods, documentation, and production transfer as needed
Stay up to date with the latest technological developments and collaborate with scientific partners
Improve and maintain our optics lab
Serve as a technical interface and 3rd‑level support for our customers, production sites, and suppliers
Qualifications
Strong technical or scientific education
Relevant work experience is desirable but not essential
Technical and methodological expertise in the field of vision technology
Proficiency in relevant software tools and excellent English skills
Structured approach to work and creative problem‑solving skills
Good communication skills in German and English
