Web Content Strategist | Pro (all genders)
Start immediately. Total hours available full-time or part-time from 30 h. Location: Salzburg or Vienna.
As a Web Content Strategist at pixelart, you develop content concepts for websites and digital platforms that are user centered, well structured and effective. You combine web know‑how, strong editorial skills, SEO and GEO understanding with a good sense for brands, target groups and digital touchpoints. You think content through from concept to go live: from page structure, messaging and copy to content guidelines and quality assurance. Together with Concept, UX, Design, Development, Project Management and Marketing, you help ensure that digital experiences are clear, relevant, search optimised and cleanly implementable in the CMS. You use AI tools and automation thoughtfully to make research, structuring, content production and optimisation more efficient and future‑ready.
Your tasks
Developing content concepts for websites, platforms and digital touchpoints, with a focus on information architecture, page logic, content hierarchies and messaging
Translating brand strategy, target group needs and business goals into clear website structures, relevant content and strong digital user experiences
Conceptualising, creating and optimising website content, landing pages, modules and content components along user journeys, search intent and project goals
Contributing to content guidelines, tonalities and messaging principles for digital brand experiences
Supporting content audits and deriving concrete optimisations regarding relevance, quality, structure, discoverability and user behaviour
Applying SEO and GEO approaches to make content discoverable and relevant for traditional search and AI‑supported search systems
Using AI tools and automation to support research, structuring, content production and quality assurance
Supporting the maintenance, implementation and quality assurance of content in the CMS, including checks before go live
Collaborating with clients and internal teams, as well as presenting and explaining content concepts, structures and content decisions
Our Offer
In addition to great benefits, we offer you an annual salary starting at EUR 42,000 gross (incl. holiday pay and Christmas bonus) on the basis of a full‑time position. Your actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience.
What you can contribute
At least 3 years of experience in an agency, editorial, content strategy or comparable role in a digital environment, corresponding to Pro level
First proven references in developing content concepts for websites, platforms or digital touchpoints
Good understanding of information architecture, user guidance, content structures and digital platforms
Experience in conceptualising, creating and optimising website content, landing pages, modules or digital content formats
Confident handling of SEO, search intent and content logic, as well as interest in GEO and AI‑supported search
Good sense for brands, target groups, user needs, tonality and digital communication
Experience with CMS systems and an understanding of how content is structured, maintained and implemented on the web
Thoughtful use of AI tools, combined with an interest in making content processes more efficient and quality oriented
Analytical thinking and the ability to derive content decisions from user behaviour, search intent and project goals
Ability to explain and present content concepts, structures and content clearly and further develop them together with clients and internal teams
Native level German and very good English skills
