Your Role
Reporting to the Directors, you'll be responsible for driving Site Operations and embodying strong technical, communication, and leadership skills across the teams. You'll be hands‑on and lead by example, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality. You'll be required to:
* Plan workforce needs, recruit personnel, and develop staff through training, mentoring, and leadership identification.
* Promote organisational culture and ensure accountability across employees and subcontractors.
* Manage daily civil construction operations, including supervision and collaboration with engineering and project teams.
* Identify technical issues early, implement corrective actions, and monitor subcontractor performance.
* Support forecasting, resource planning, and coordination to ensure alignment with project design and intent.
* Lead and support Supervisors, including selection, performance development, and emerging leader identification.
* Oversee SHEQ requirements through inspections, risk assessments, incident reporting, and integration of safety into all work processes.
* Maintain strong communication with clients and represent the organisation professionally to ensure expectations are met.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who:
* Has demonstrated technical knowledge of civil earthworks, construction and demolition processes.
* Possesses relevant qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering or Project Management (desirable).
* Exhibits strong communication, interpersonal and people skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and with clients/subcontractors.
* Has proven experience in Construction Project Management.
* Has strong planning, organisational, time‑management and prioritisation skills to deliver projects and responses on time.
* Displays high attention to detail and works professionally as part of a productive team.
* Has a current driver’s licence and White Card (OH&S Induction Training).
Other Details
This is a full‑time permanent position, Monday to Friday with an attractive remuneration package for the right person.
