Job Description
As a Staff/Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will be:
Responsible for the design, development, testing, and integration of hardware and software components into our CycloRotor products
Responsible for guiding the team in applying the DO-178 (ED-12), and ARP4754 / ARP4761 (ED-79 / ED-135) standards and methods towards certifiable products
Providing technical guidance and feedback to your team members and other engineers
Preparing and presenting technical reports and documentation for internal and external purposes
Qualifications
Master’s degree / PhD in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, embedded systems engineering, or a related field.
At least 8 years of experience in designing and developing HW and SW systems for electric aircraft or similar safety critical applications
At least 4 years of experience in an aerospace design organization (DO) practicing DO-178, CVE experience is a plus
Very good ARP4754/61 and DO178C know-how
Familiarity with DO254 and DO160
Familiarity with CS-E or Part 33
Thorough understanding of the principles and technologies of aerospace embedded systems
Pragmatic approach allowing to bridge the gap between prototyping and certification
Track record of implementing automation across V&V activities
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Advanced English language skills, German knowledge is a plus
