Role
The role
You will lead the market surveillance and risk management function across the business, playing a key role in protecting market integrity and ensuring regulatory alignment.
Responsibilities
* Leading the market surveillance and risk management framework and function
* Designing and implementing controls to detect market manipulation, abusive behaviour, wash trading, and other suspicious activity
* Overseeing real time surveillance tools, alerts, and investigation workflows
* Ensuring alignment with MiCA risk, conduct, and market abuse requirements
* Developing and maintaining the enterprise risk management framework, covering operational, market, custodial, and counterparty risk
* Preparing internal and regulatory reporting on risk indicators, incidents, and mitigation actions
* Working closely with Compliance, Product, and Technology teams as business models and systems evolve
Requirements
* University degree in Finance, Economics, Law, Risk Management, or a related discipline
* 5 to 8 years of experience in market surveillance, risk management, or compliance within financial services, trading platforms, or digital asset environments
* Strong knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks, including MiCA market abuse rules
* Hands on experience with surveillance tools and analytical platforms
* Strong leadership, judgement, and investigative capability
* Fluent English, German language skills are strongly preferred
