In the Global Products Group, we are dedicated to excellence in the design and engineering of Lam's etch and deposition products. As a Process Engineer at Lam, you will operate on cutting-edge technology, harnessing atomic precision, material science, and surface engineering to push technical boundaries. Your expertise and knowledge play a crucial role our customers success, making an impact on the next generation of semiconductor breakthroughs.
Responsible for performing professional process engineering research, development and evaluation in semiconductor environment
Conceives and plans projects involving definition and selection of new concepts and approaches
Works with customer and senior engineers cross functionally to understand roadmaps, process flow, inflection points, requirements and business issues/ challenges.
May act as single point of contact accountable for process related customer requests
Drives introduction and evaluation of new technologies at customer sites including new tool qualifications
Supports customer technology managers in the planning, data collection, analysis and reporting
MSc in in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics with 3+ years of Process Engineer experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in the field of wet clean/advanced packaging or alternatively a finished PhD study in related field.
Familiarity with working in a chemical laboratory, having experience in surface preparation and analytical techniques
Creative thinking and strong problem-solving capabilities, able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills in English
