Job position
Hey, future teammate! We’re looking for a B1 or B1 and B2 Technician to join our team! As B1/B2 technician you will perform routine maintenance tasks, including pre-flight and post-flight inspections, checks on engines, electronic systems, avionics, hydraulic systems, and structural components. Additionally, you will be responsible for handling lighter and timely maintenance, such as resolving minor faults and malfunctions, ensuring that the aircraft is always ready and safe for the next flight, all in compliance with current aviation regulations and established safety procedures.
What you’ll be doing
As B1 or B1 and B2 technician you have the opportunity to:
* You carry out maintenance and servicing work on the aircraft types within our portfolio in compliance with all relevant applicable regulations and within the scope of the qualifications you have obtained, thereby making a direct contribution to air traffic safety
* You certify the proper execution of maintenance work and thus ensure that our customers get their fleet airborne on time
* As a CAT B1, you give technical instructions, coordinate and monitor the maintenance work of other employees with lower qualifications in the assigned work area and certify that it has been carried out correctly
* You provide support in carrying out simple logistical activities
* You take on temporary assignments at domestic maintenance centres and abroad
You are the right person if…
* Completed vocational training in an aeronautical profession or comparable knowledge acquired through several years of experience
* AML according to EASA Part-66, Airbus family A320 (CFM56/V2500/CFM LEAP-1A/IAE PW1100G); Boeing B737NG/MAX, additional types are welcome
* Several years of experience in maintenance and repair of civil aviation equipment in the area of line or base maintenance
* Fluent technical English knowledge and good knowledge of German language
* Organization, attention to detail, flexibility, proactivity and customer orientation
* Ability to work in a team but also independently when it is needed.
* Continuous attitude of learning and improvement.
* European Driving License Class B/3
